A Meaningful Exchange of Knowledge and Compassion

We were delighted to welcome Professor Lin and 17 students from Tamkang University, Taiwan, to the Tzu Chi Colombo Office as part of their research visit to Sri Lanka.

During the session, we shared insights into Sri Lanka's current economic and environmental context, the impacts of climate change, and how Tzu Ching volunteers respond through environmental conservation, community service, education, and humanitarian initiatives.

The students, who are conducting research on water resources, environmental issues, and Indigenous communities in Sri Lanka, actively engaged in thoughtful discussions and exchanged valuable perspectives.

Beyond the learning experience, the visit provided a wonderful opportunity to build friendships, share cultures, and strengthen our shared commitment to creating a more compassionate and sustainable world.

We sincerely thank Professor Lin and the students of Tamkang University for visiting us, and we wish them every success in their research journey.
