Trefoil Guild Annual Christmas Celebration 2025

The Trefoil Guild Annual Christmas Party was joyfully celebrated on 22nd December 2025 at the elegant SKY PORT, located at Coronation Tower 1, 19th Floor, Orion City. The afternoon was filled with festive cheer, laughter, and togetherness, making it a truly memorable occasion for all who attended.

The celebration came alive with live music, delicious food and beverages, and beautifully arranged Christmas decorations that added warmth and colour to the venue. The festive atmosphere brought smiles to every face and created a sense of happiness and unity among the members.

Our senior members especially enjoyed the gathering, sharing stories, laughter, and precious moments with friends. The carefully planned decorations and lively ambiance made the entire session joyful and uplifting for everyone present.

As a token of love and appreciation, all members received a Christmas gift, adding a special touch to the celebration. The event concluded with hearts full of joy and anticipation as we look forward to our next meet-up, carrying with us the spirit of Christmas and fellowship.

Trefoil Guild Sri Lanka – Annual General Meeting 2025

The Trefoil Guild Sri Lanka held its Annual General Meeting on 13th September 2025 at the Colombo Scout District Branch.

The Chief Guest for the occasion was Ms. Nilupa Perera, Chief Regulatory Officer at the Colombo Stock Exchange, who delivered an insightful address on financial management and prudent investment strategies. Her contribution added great value to the proceedings and was much appreciated by all present.

The Annual General Meeting was further enriched by the participation of senior members, whose presence added significance to the event. The dedication and teamwork of the committee members ensured that the meeting was both meaningful and successful.

Trefoil Guild Sri Lanka extends its gratitude to all who contributed to the success of this event and looks forward to the continued growth and fellowship of the Guild in the years ahead.

Let’s laugh, relax & make memories together!

The Trefoil Guild Committee organized a delightful day out for its members at Paradise Inn, Bolgoda on Saturday, May 24, 2025.

Around 35 members participated in this exciting event, enjoying a day filled with games, music, dancing, delicious food, and thoughtful gifts. The beautiful surroundings added to the charm, and members made sure to capture plenty of photos with nature’s beauty.

It was a truly memorable day, and everyone left with smiles and warm wishes—looking forward to the next gathering.

Bringing a Smile

The Trefoil Guild of Sri Lanka organized a school project at K/KAN/Wan-ela Maha Vidyalaya, Wan-ela, Kanthale, on 20th May 2025. As part of the project, they donated sports equipment, toys, and stationery to the school.

The school, which has approximately 400 students, warmly welcomed the initiative. The project was carried out under the guidance of the school principal. Members of the school staff were present during the event. Two representatives from the Guild attended the event to officially hand over the donated items.

Sinhala & Tamil new year celebrations

The Trefoil Guild Sri Lanka celebrated the upcoming Sinhala and Tamil New Year in style at the Sri Lanka Girl Guides Association in Colombo 7.

The success of the Avurudu celebrations was a result of the dedication and teamwork of everyone involved.

During the celebrations, traditional Avurudu milk rice and sweet treats were served to the members. Various Avurudu-related games were played, and music was the most popular part of the festivities.

It was with great pleasure that the Trefoil Guild Sri Lanka welcomed Mr. and Ms. Ruth Jones from UK GGA. They had a delightful afternoon with our committee members while enjoying Sri Lankan refreshments. Ms. Ashanthi Ambawatte Hettige, President, and Ms. Harshini Perera, Guild Secretary, pinned a welcome badge with a quote from Lady Olave Baden-Powell.
