Embark We are an organization dedicated to improving the wellbeing of the street dogs of Sri Lanka.

Embark is an animal welfare organization that embodies the importance of compassion and focuses on the protection, rescue, and improving the overall wellbeing of street dogs in Sri Lanka. Embark has been focusing on educating the public and conducting awareness campaigns as well as rescues since 2007. The emphasis has also been to make the street dog fashionable to own in the hope of fostering a c

ompassionate attitude towards them. This emanated from the founder, Otara Gunewardene’s background as a well-known entrepreneur, fashion icon, and a philanthropist.

Prince was found with wounds on his leg, tail, and body, in pain and needing urgent care 💔
X-rays show serious spinal changes, and amputation of his left hind limb has been advised

Blood tests have been done, and we’re now waiting on results as he continues treatment 🤍
