මනුෂ්‍යත්වයටසීමා මායිම් නැත– වේදනාවෙන් පිරුණු හදවතින් විලාප නගමින් ආරක්ෂාව සොයන අයට අවශ්‍ය ආරක්ෂාව හා වේදනාව නැති කිරීම වෙනුවෙන් වචනයකින් හෝ උපකාර කිරීම අප ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයන්ගේ ඉතාමත් උසස් ගුණාංගයකි.

පසුගිය දිනයක ඉරානයේ නෞකාවක් කිසිදු ආරක්‍ෂාවක් හෝ රැකවරණයක් නොමැතිව ගාලු වරායට පැමිණ අසරණවීම ඉතාමත් කණගාටුවට කරුණකි. මෙවැනි අවස්ථාවක තුවාලකරුවන් රෝගීන් වෙනුවෙන් ප්‍රතිකාර කිරීම හා ඔවුන්ට සෙවනැල්ලක් වීමව් අප ශ්‍රී ලාංකික යන්ගේ පරම යුතුකමයි. මුහුදේ පාවි පාවී පිළිසරණක් සොයමින් නෞකාවක් පුද්ගලයන් රැගෙන ගාල්ල වරාය ආසන්නයට පැමිණ ඇති බව කනගාටුවෙන් කියවිය යුතුය. මෙම දුෂ්කර ගමනේ අතරතුර ජීවිත හානි කිහිපයක්ද සිදුවී තිබීමයි. ඉතාමත් කණගාටුවට කරුණක් වී ඇත . මෙවැනි දුෂ්කර වූ අවස්ථාවලදී අප කළ යුතු දේ දෙවරක් නොසිත ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ සිටි අපේ නිලධාරීන් කරුණාව දයාව අනුකම්පාව ඇති හදවතිත් මනුෂ්‍යත්වයේ නාමයෙන් අප වෛරී හදවත් නොමැති
ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයන් ලෙස ශ්‍රී ලාංකික සංස්කෘතියට හා මුළු ලොවටම දයාදය කළ හැකි මෛත්‍රී සහගත කරුණාව, මනුෂ්‍යත්වය සියලු වර්ගවාදය, වෙනස්කම් කිරීම හෝ වෙනස් කොට සැලකීම කිසිවක් නොමැතිව, අති දුෂ්කර අවස්ථාවක ගිලනුන්ට උවටැන් කරමින් ආරක්ෂාව සොයන සියලු දෙනාට අපගේ සහයෝගය ලබාදීම අප පරම යුතුකම බව ලොවට පෙන්නූ ශ්‍රී ලාංකික ජාතියකි
එවන් අප ශ්‍රී ලාංකිකයන්ට කරුණාව, දයාව අනුකම්පාව දයාබර හදවතකින් අපි දැන් දිගු කරන්නෙමු. මනුෂ්‍ය ජීවිත ආරක්ෂා කිරීම , මිනිසා වෙනුවෙන් මිනිසා සේවය කිරීම ගිලන් අවස්ථාවක උපස්ථාන කිරීම කුස ගින්නට ආහාර ලබාදීම ,හිසට නිවනක් ආකම්තුක සත්කාර කිරීම අප සැමගේ එකම බලාපොරොත්තුවයි.
සියලු ලෝ වැසි ජනතාවගේ ගෞරවය ආරක්ෂා කිරීමටත්, මනුෂ්‍යත්වය වෙනුවෙන් එක්ව සිටීමටත්, අප සියලු දෙනා මෙම උතුම් කාර්යයට අප හා අත්වැල් බැඳ ගැනීමට එක්වෙමු..... ආරාධනා කරමු.....

“Humanity Beyond Borders – A Call to Protect and Support Asylum Seekers”

Very recently, an Iranian vessel carrying asylum seekers arrived near Galle Harbour. Sadly, this tragic journey has also resulted in casualties. In times like these, we must remember that before anything else, we are human beings.
As Sri Lankans, our tradition and culture teach us compassion, kindness, and humanity. Without racism, discrimination, or prejudice, we are ready to welcome and support those who seek safety during their most difficult moments.
Let us extend our hands with kindness, empathy, and a generous heart. Protecting human life is our shared responsibility.
We invite everyone to stand together in solidarity, to protect human dignity, and to join our society for this noble and worthy humanitarian cause.
