On July 4, 2026, the Voice of Humanity Movement, in collaboration with the Sri Lanka Association of Washington DC, successfully hosted our 6th annual blood donation camp at St. Sebastian’s College, Moratuwa.
We are incredibly grateful to the 200+ volunteers who stepped forward to donate, embodying the true spirit of compassion and unity. Thank you to our partners, medical teams, and supporters for helping us turn this event into a beacon of hope.
Together, we shared the gift of life and strengthened our community. Thank you for proving that humanity flows through every heartbeat. ❤️

Today at BMICH, our work with the _Voice of Humanity Movement_ was honored on World Blood Donor Day.

This recognition belongs to every donor who rolled up their sleeve and every volunteer who stood beside them. Together, we’ve organized 5 blood donation camps so far — each one powered by your generosity.

We’re just getting started. Our 6th camp is already in the works, and we’d be honored to have you with us again.

*Let us cultivate wisdom and overcome adversity....*

We successfully carried out three book donation projects for school children who were affected by the Dwithwa storm in Sri Lanka. The primary objective of these initiatives was to support and rebuild the education of children impacted by adverse weather conditions.

The first phase of the project was implemented for affected students in the Athurugiriya and Kaduwela areas. The second phase was conducted in the Puttalam area, extending support to school children affected by the storm. The main book donation program was subsequently held at Kimbula-Ela School in Hasalaka.

In addition to books, essential school equipment was distributed among the affected children with the generous support of both local and foreign donors. We extend our sincere gratitude to all individuals and organizations who contributed in various ways to ensure the success of this initiative.

We would also like to express our heartfelt appreciation to DGP- Air Vice Marshal SDGM Silva, CO SLAF DMTS Digana-Gp Capt DGPL Jayatilleke,
A AdO-Fg Off MPMUP Mahavidana Chief Inspector Sharada Fernando(HQI Athurugiriya), Lieutenant Colonel BMR Ferdinandesz SLA, and
