Dear Brothers, Colleagues and Friends,
St. Servatius Triumphs at the 126th Big Match – Mission Accomplished
The Old Boys’ Association (OBA) of St. Servatius’ College, Matara, proudly announces that we have achieved a long-awaited milestone—one that has been 55 years in the making. The Big Match-2026 won.
Our heartfelt gratitude goes to the present proud Committee members of the OBA, whose dedication, commitment, and personal sacrifices—both in time and financial contribution—made playing the role of the old boys to make this historic victory possible. They have truly exemplified what it means to be old boys in action, not merely in words or Facebook symbols.
We also extend our sincere thanks to the past and present College Management, Coaches, Players, Old Boys, parents and all well-wishers whose unwavering support and contributions—through the OBA and beyond—helped to bring this dream to reality.
A Final Appeal
To support this achievement, a sum of approximately Rs. 3.1 million was personally invested to upgrade the principal’s quarters with hostel facilities. This development was undertaken in response to requests made by the MIC (Cricket) and the Senior Coach, as a key pre-requirement in our journey toward winning the big match.
They have fulfilled their responsibility with dedication. Now, we warmly invite our grateful Old Boys to come forward and support the reimbursement of these personal funds through the OBA. Your contribution will stand as a true expression of gratitude and a meaningful way to be part of this historic success we have all awaited for decades.

Let us celebrate this proud moment together—with gratitude, unity, and joy.
Another milestone awaits us soon.
Let us relax then, take a well-earned pause and allow the GEN-Z and Generation ALPHA- young and new blood to take over and rise in modern and more productive way.
St. Servatius, pray for us.
Thank you and bye.
