Faculty of Engineering Student Community (FESC) at Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology(SLIIT) is a committee made up of representatives from the different Engineering disciplines of the Faculty of Engineering at SLIIT. The representatives are selected from the undergraduate student societies representing those batches, and their goal is facilitate communication between the students of di

fferent disciplines and the Faculty. FESC was founded in 2011, and is able to act as representatives of the engineering students as a whole.

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Mr. Chamika Rathnayake, a final-year student of the Faculty of Engineering, specializing in Civil Engineering. Chamika was on the verge of completing his degree and held great promise for a bright future. His untimely demise is an immense loss to our academic community and leaves an irreplaceable void in our hearts. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
