When I first discovered parkour over a decade ago, it was more than just a sport to me — it was a way of life. The freedom of movement, the creativity in overcoming obstacles, and the discipline behind every jump and landing inspired me to bring this art to Sri Lanka.
In 2013, I founded the Sri Lanka Freerunning & Parkour Federation (SFPF) with a simple vision: to build a community where young people could express themselves through movement, train in a safe and structured environment, and show the world that Sri Lanka has its own voice in the global parkour family.
Our journey has not been easy — we began with no facilities, limited recognition, and only a handful of members. But through passion, perseverance, and the belief that movement can change lives, SFPF has grown into a community that inspires discipline, fitness, creativity, and confidence.
My dream is to see Sri Lankan freerunners on international stages, our youth recognized as athletes, and parkour accepted as a sport that shapes stronger bodies and stronger minds. This federation is not just about flips or stunts — it’s about unlocking human potential, one movement at a time.
I warmly invite you to be part of this journey — whether as an athlete, a supporter, or a partner — to help us take Sri Lankan freerunning and parkour to the next level.
