Yesterday, we celebrated another memorable milestone at Wayamba Toastmasters Club- our 797th meeting! 🎉💙

It was more than just another meeting. It was a fruitful opportunity to pause, reflect and look ahead. 🌱

✨ A special highlight of the meeting was the Moments of Truth session, brilliantly facilitated by TM Jayasinge Ranjana, who shared valuable insights, key observations and practical recommendations aimed at strengthening and uplifting our club.

🔎 From reflecting on our members’ experiences to identifying opportunities for improvement, the session encouraged us to look at where we are today and where we can go tomorrow.

🌟 MOMENTS OF TRUTH | WAYAMBA TOASTMASTERS CLUB 🌟

What makes a Toastmasters club truly successful? 🤔

Is it the speeches? 🎤
The members? 👥
The meetings? 🗓️
Or the way we make every member feel valued? 💙

This week, let's take a moment to look within our club, reflect on where we are, and discover where we can grow together. 🌱

🎯 MOMENTS OF TRUTH

A special session at Wayamba Toastmasters Club

🎙️ Session by:
TM Ranjana Jayasinghe
✨ Former President
✨ Former Area Director

🔎 The 6 Pillars of a Successful Toastmasters Club

1️⃣ First Impressions
How do guests and new members experience us from the very first moment? 👋

2️⃣ Membership Orientation
Are our new members clearly guided into their Toastmasters journey? 🧭

3️⃣ Fellowship, Variety & Communication
Do we create a warm, friendly and supportive environment where everyone enjoys learning? 🤝

4️⃣ Program Planning & Meeting Organization
Are our meetings well planned, engaging, educational and valuable for every member? 🎤📚

5️⃣ Membership Strength
Do we have an active, growing membership that creates opportunities for leadership and participation? 🚀

6️⃣ Achievement Recognition
Do we recognize, celebrate and motivate our members as they progress toward their goals? 🏆👏

These aren't simply six points on a checklist.
They are six opportunities to ask ourselves:
💭 “What are we doing well?”
💭 “Where can we improve?”
💭 “How can WE make Wayamba even better?”
Because a great club doesn't happen by chance.

It is built by every member, one moment at a time. 💙

⏰ 4.00 PM onwards
📍 ESOFT Metro Campus (Degree Division)

Yesterday, we came together for our 796th Meeting of Wayamba Toastmasters Club and what an incredible evening it was! 🎤✨

From inspiring speeches and thoughtful evaluations to laughter, learning, and plenty of fun, every moment reminded us why we love being part of this amazing Toastmasters family. 🙌

We may come to Toastmasters as individuals to listen, to learn, and to speak.

But the true beauty of Wayamba Toastmasters is that we don’t grow alone. We grow together. 🌱🤝

Every speech builds confidence.
Every evaluation creates improvement.
Every role develops leadership.
Every meeting brings us one step closer to becoming the best version of ourselves. 🚀

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed to making our 796th meeting a memorable, fun-filled and empowering experience. ❤️
