WFFP has 8 young leaders who will help lead the youth process going forward.

This week in Sri Lanka, 7 of the 8 young members were present at the WFFP Ocean School, strengthening their knowledge and leadership around AquaEcology, gender justice, decolonising our minds, and resisting industrial aquaculture.
This is just the beginning.

🔥 2027 – WFFP General Assembly: We are looking towards a powerful Youth Assembly, bringing together youth representatives from across the WFFP family.

🌊 2028 – International Tribunal: Young fisherfolk will continue building their voice and leadership through the Tribunal on Resisting Industrial Aquaculture.

Y-MESOC National Youth Committee Meeting 💪
Today at NAFSO Auditorium, youth leaders discussed the amendment process of the Y-MESOC Youth Constitution - By-laws, and new proposals on youth affairs & activities.
Focus: Strengthening youth leadership, climate justice, and active participation in fishing communities.
Building a stronger Y-MESOC together for the future! 🌱

අද NAFSO ශ්‍රවණාගාරයේදී Y-MESOC තරුණ ව්‍යවස්ථාව - උප නීති සංශෝධන ක්‍රියාවලිය සහ තරුණ කටයුතු හා ක්‍රියාකාරකම් පිළිබඳ නව යෝජනා සාකච්ඡා කරන ලදී.
අරමුණ: තරුණ නායකත්වය, දේශගුණික යුක්තිය සහ ධීවර ප්‍රජාවන්හි ක්‍රියාකාරී සහභාගීත්වය ශක්තිමත් කිරීම.

இளைஞர் தலைமைத்துவம், காலநிலை நீதி மற்றும் மீனவ சமூக பங்கேற்பை வலுப்படுத்துவதே நோக்கம்.
