Wayaexplorers, the explorers' club of Wayamba University of Sri Lanka was established in 2021 with the aim of providing an experience of exploration to the students and making graduates who care about environment and society. Vision-
To present the world with well rounded, mentally and physically healthy graduates who love and safeguard the environment. Mission-
Exploring and protecting the nature

as a vigilant explorer while facing the obstacles unitedly, working with each other respecting equality, where you leave behind only the experiences and memories while developing the personality and enhancing leadership qualities ultimately handing over the divine mother nature to the younger generation.

Namunukula Camping 2026 — Album 🏕️⛰️

Nestled in the heart of the Uva Highlands near Badulla, Namunukula—meaning Nine Peaks—is one of Sri Lanka’s most breathtaking mountain ranges, celebrated for its misty forests, rolling tea estates, panoramic viewpoints, and unforgettable hiking trails. Our two-day camping adventure took us through stunning landscapes, challenging climbs, and peaceful moments beneath the stars, ending with the successful completion of the Namunukula hike. 🌿✨

As WayaExplorers, every journey brings us closer to nature and to one another. This adventure left us with unforgettable memories, stronger friendships, and a deeper appreciation for Sri Lanka’s natural beauty. Arangala welcomed us with rugged cliffs, endless greenery, and breathtaking landscapes that reminded us how beautiful the journey can be. Every trail challenged us, every viewpoint rewarded us, and every moment strengthened the bond we share as explorers. 💚✨

Beyond the stunning scenery, this adventure was about teamwork, determination, and creating memories through every step we took together. The laughter, encouragement, and shared experiences turned a simple hike into a story we'll always remember.
