However, the present constitution is not fully reflective of the present status and the future of Rajarata Praja Kendraya (RPK).Therefore it has become necessary to formulate a new constitution not only to suit the present status but also to suit future development of RPK, particularly in the governanc
e of RPK to stand as a development organization capable of transforming the communities into self-help, empowered, vibrant communities. The foundation for RPK was laid down in 1995 by group of enthusiastic social activists, primarily to provide education for children who were deprived of education due to caste problems. Social development programs cover approximately 7,500 families and micro-credit 2,500 families. The annual intakes into the vocational training programs are 130.This shows the growth in programs. On the other hand RPK has grown from an infancy stage to the maturity stage as an organization. In order to streamline growth in these two areas the RPK has engaged in developing a strategic plan for programs and an organizational development plan for management. Formulating of a new constitution is part of the organizational development plan. RPK can be simply explained as a corporation-governmental organization with three entities namely.
