🕊️ IN LOVING MEMORY OF KAWANTISSA 🐘💚

With heavy hearts, we mourn the loss of Kawantissa, one of Sri Lanka’s magnificent wild tuskers. His majestic presence, extraordinary beauty, and quiet strength made him a treasured symbol of our island’s incredible wildlife heritage.

RIP 🪦💐

Today at Millennium Elephant Foundation, learning went beyond the classroom! 🐘🩺🌿

Our volunteers had the wonderful opportunity to take part in an educational veterinary session led by our Senior Veterinary Surgeon, Professor Ashok Dangolla.
From understanding elephant health and welfare to gaining valuable hands-on experience, our volunteers got a closer look at the knowledge, care, and dedication involved in providing the best possible care for these incredible animals. ❤️

A big thank you to Professor Ashok Dangolla for sharing his expertise and to our amazing volunteers for their enthusiasm and curiosity. 🙏

Learning. Caring. Protecting. 🐘🌿
