Our launch of the magazine and the screening of “Salt & Honey” was truly made special by your presence. What we witnessed was more than an event, it was the beginning of a meaningful journey.

A journey where we strive to give back to the communities that have given us so much, to tell their stories with care, and to create something that resonates beyond pages and screens.

We are deeply grateful to our youth outreach partners, GYBN and Kinship, for their invaluable support and grant provision, which made this vision possible. We also extend our sincere appreciation to the field experts who guided us with their knowledge and insight, and to the communities who welcomed us with openness and trust, your stories are at the heart of everything we do.

We are grateful to have taken these very first steps with you. Your ideas, suggestions, and encouragement mean more than words can say, and they will guide us as we continue to build this path forward.

Here’s to growing together, to creating with purpose, and to many more moments where salt meets honey.

The sea remembers them. Do you?
(Sound on and swipe )

We have exciting news for you! This March, GYBN Sri Lanka will screen a documentary featuring stories from communities located in the islands off Jaffna’s main coast and the Adivasi community from Kunjam Kulam, ( sometimes referred to as the ‘Muhuddu veddas’ or 'Karaiyora Vedargal').

The documentary captures lives that are deeply shaped by sea, land and tradition. Come hear their stories. Connect across cultures. Learn from guardians. And maybe, reflect on your own relationship with nature.

More details soon! Physical screening registrations will open shortly
