The Soup Bowl Centres The Drop In centre is the soup kitchen project of The Soup Bowl charity. The Soup Bowl centres provide a meal for the needy.

We started in October 23, 2015 and serve over 100 plates of home made goodness to the economically challenged.

Through our collaboration with Buono Café, Kandy City Mission, and The Soup Bowl, we have been able to serve a wide section of people affected by Cyclone Ditwah. We extend our heartfelt thanks to our volunteers, donors, and everyone who partnered with us over the past seven days.

In the coming days, the Community Kitchen at Kandy City Mission will continue operations, while The Soup Bowl transitions to providing ration packs. We kindly ask for your continued support for the Community Kitchen run by Kandy City Mission & Buono and for The Soup Bowl’s upcoming initiatives.
