The U17 All Island School Team Badminton Championship was held from the 20th to the 24th at St. Thomas’ College Bandarawela. Here’s an update on our journey:

In the group stage, we defeated Bandarawela Central College 5–0, St. Benedict’s College 5–0, Nalanda College 4–1, and Royal College Colombo 5–0.

In the Super A stage semi-final, we faced St. Sebastian’s College and won a thrilling match 3–2.

In the final, we played against St. Joseph’s College Colombo and secured the championship with a dominant 3–0 victory. Rajans gave them no chance to come close.

This victory marks the U17 Super A Division Championship title after 22 years — a historic achievement for the team!
