The discussion explored how social emotional learning skills such as resilience, empathy, and collective responsibility are often developed through lived experience and community, yet remain overlooked within formal curricula and traditional evaluation systems.

Together with the Rotary Club of Kandy and Rotaract Club of Kandy, we supported ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฃ๐ž๐œ๐ญ ๐…๐ฅ๐จ๐ฐ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐‡๐จ๐ฉ๐ž - a multi-phase initiative restoring water and sanitation access for rural schools and surrounding communities affected by water scarcity and Cyclone Ditwah.

Across ๐ญ๐ก๐ซ๐ž๐ž ๐ฌ๐œ๐ก๐จ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฌ ๐ข๐ง ๐†๐š๐ฆ๐ฉ๐จ๐ฅ๐š ๐š๐ง๐ ๐‡๐ฎ๐ง๐ง๐š๐ฌ๐ ๐ข๐ซ๐ข๐ฒ๐š, ๐Š๐š๐ง๐๐ฒ, this effort helped restore and improve access to running water and safe drinking water - including water pumps, pipeline networks, and water purification support.
