This Children’s Day the members of the Inner Wheel Club of Katugastota spent a beautiful and meaningful time with the children of Thakshila Vidyalaya.
We were delighted to share a little happiness by donating essential stationery to support their education and learning.
Sometimes, it’s the simplest gestures that leave the biggest smiles. Through friendship, compassion and service, we hope to inspire these young minds to learn, dream and reach for a brighter future.
Because every child deserves the opportunity to dream big.

Stepping into its 41st year of service, the Inner Wheel Club of Katugastota ceremonially inducted its 41st President, Mrs. Marie Seneviratne, together with her Executive Committee, held at the Mahaweli Reach Hotel, Kandy.

As the club enters its 41st year, the theme "Grow and Flourish" reminds us that true growth is found in the friendships we nurture, the hands we extend in service, and the lives we uplift along the way. 🌱✨

Here's to a year filled with purpose, fellowship, and service from the heart.

The Inner Wheel Club of Katugastota celebrated the spirit of International Friendship Day 2026 by coming together for a wonderful dinner evening, cherishing the bonds of friendship, service, and understanding that make our Inner Wheel family so special.

✨ Here's a glimpse of a lovely moment we shared as we recorded what was, for many of us, our very first TikTok! 💜💛

The Inner Wheel Club of Katugastota started off the Inner Wheel year 2026/2027, with the very first service project—a donation of dry rations to Daya Niwasa as part of the monthly community service initiative.

Though a simple gesture, it was a meaningful way to support the residents and contribute to their daily needs. We look forward to another year of serving with kindness, friendship, and compassion, making a positive difference in the lives of others.

The Inner Wheel Club of Katugastota is honoured to continue its project of providing dry rations and essential items to Daya Niwasa, a home that lovingly cares for the differently-abled and those in need of shelter and support.
Through this initiative, our members come together to share kindness and ensure that the residents have access to daily necessities that contribute to their comfort and well-being. Each visit reminds us of the power of service, empathy, and the impact of small, consistent acts of generosity.

The Inner Wheel Club of Katugastota provided dry rations and vegetables as well as a helping hand to a community kitchen that rises in compassion for those struck by disaster in Kandy town. In a time when even water is scarce, this kitchen becomes a beacon of hope—serving warm, cooked meals to those who have lost so much, reminding them that they are not forgotten.
