KUWA Widow Support Project

For over 15 years, Khadimul Umma Welfare Association (KUWA) has been committed to serving our community through a wide range of social welfare initiatives. The KUWA Widow Support Project is one of our most meaningful efforts.

We believe that no widow should have to worry about providing food for her family during the Iddah period following the loss of her husband.

Through this project, we provide a dry food pack worth LKR 10,000 every month for the 5-month (Iddah period), helping to ease the burden on bereaved families during one of the most difficult times in their lives.

Alhamdulillah, we have been successfully carrying out this project for the past year, supporting widows with compassion, dignity, and care.

We sincerely pray that Allah (SWT) accepts this humble service, grants patience and strength to every widow, and abundantly rewards all our members, donors, volunteers, and supporters. Ameen.

Alhamdulilla more than 15 years, Khadhimul Umma Welfare Association has been committed to supporting families in need during the blessed month of Ramadan.

Alhamdulillah, this year we successfully distributed more then 550 dry food packs, with a value of nearly Rs.7000, to help deserving families prepare for Ramadan with dignity and ease.

KUWA Emergency Relief Pack-2025

First step We are pleased to provide nearly 500 emergency relief packs to support the people who were affected due to bad weather in our area. And each pack contains essential dry food such as rice, sugar, flour, dhal, canned fish,and other necessities.

This contribution is part of our ongoing commitment to delivering humanity assistance for those in need. We hope that these relief packs will help ease the difficulties faced by the affected families and individuals.
