Mission Statement

Our mission is to ensure the educational development of children, to ensure their educational opportunities, to implement health and nutrition programs, to ensure the safety of children, to empower women who are directly involved in this, and ultimately to ensure the rights of children.

Following the successful implementation of CCPL’s Preventing Violent Extremism (PVE) Project in 2024/2025, an initial discussion was recently held in Gampola to explore ways of sustaining the achievements of the project and strengthening the role of young leaders as Peace Ambassadors within their communities.

Around 30 young leaders who were actively involved in the PVE project participated in this important discussion. The session provided an opportunity to reflect on their experiences, share ideas, and explore practical ways in which they can continue contributing to peace, social harmony, community dialogue and positive change.

The discussion was attended by Mr. Gamini Rathnatissa, Executive Director of Child Care Path Lanka (CCPL), and Mr. Nihal Liyanage, Board Member of CCPL.

We sincerely appreciate Mr. Kamaldeen, Community Leader, for supporting and sponsoring this initiative.

The project may have ended, but the journey continues.

CCPL is committed to nurturing the next generation of young leaders and supporting them to become active contributors to peaceful, inclusive and harmonious communities.

The children are very helpless due to the natural disaster they have faced. They may not be able to imagine what happened, what is happening. Their loved ones left them. We, Child Car Path Lanka, visited them. We tried to make those innocent people smile, make them happy and understand them. They are our future. Let us extend our hands of love to them.
