Responsible authorities must first assess the damage, identify risks, and plan the safest, most effective deployment of resources. Rushing into unstable zones without proper study risks more tragedy. Long-term relief and rebuilding depend on this structured, careful action.

While we help immediately with food and essentials, let’s support—not damage the morale—of the organized teams working tirelessly behind the scenes.

Let's unite, stay informed, and come together as a nation.

Touching Lives, One Small Act at a Time 💙

This morning, the Kandy Hoteliers Association came together to donate 20 kidney trays to the Emergency Treatment Unit (ETU) and 90 cabinet files to the Cardiology Ward of the Kandy National Hospital.

These humble donations were made through the personal contributions of our members, as part of our continuing CSR efforts.

We’ve always believed that our National Hospitals serve those who need it most the poorest of the poor and it is our duty and privilege to lend a helping hand whenever we can.

Every small act of kindness adds up to something greater when done with compassion and care.

We felt truly privileged to celebrate World Tourism Day at the Wax Museum, housed in the historic Ehelepola Walawwa Mansion.
It was lovely to share the occasion with a few visiting tourists, and the highlight of the evening was the breathtaking dance and drum performance by the talented students of SIBA University – simply world-class!

Moments like these remind me how special our culture is and how tourism connects us all in such a beautiful way. 🌏✨

A heartfelt thank you to the organizers for putting together such a memorable celebration and for showcasing our heritage so beautifully.
