✨ First Aid Support at Sri Pada ✨

On 31st May 2026, the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society – Kalutara Branch was proud to provide first aid services during the Sri Pada cleaning programme organized by Bodyline Sri Lanka.

Ensuring the safety and well-being of participants remains a key part of our humanitarian mission. We are honored to support initiatives that not only protect lives but also contribute to preserving the natural beauty and spiritual significance of Sri Pada for future generations.

✨Special Dissemination Programme✨

The Sri Lanka Red Cross Society – Kalutara Branch, with the generous support of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), successfully conducted a Special Dissemination Programme aimed at promoting awareness of the Fundamental Principles, values, and humanitarian mission of the Red Cross Movement.

The programme brought together a diverse group of participants, including Public Health Inspectors (PHIs), Disaster Management Centre (DMC) officials, schoolchildren, branch volunteers, and community members, creating a valuable platform for learning, discussion, and collaboration.

Through initiatives like these, we continue to strengthen humanitarian values, build community resilience, and inspire individuals to contribute towards a safer and more compassionate society.

✨ World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day 2026 ✨

On May 08, the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society - Kalutara Branch proudly celebrated this meaningful occasion with the participation of branch staff, dedicated volunteers, and JRC members.

The day was filled with recognition, learning, and inspiration as volunteer appreciation activities were conducted, while Basic and Advanced First Aiders received their well-deserved certificates. A Red Cross dissemination session was also held to strengthen awareness of our humanitarian mission and Fundamental Principles. ⛑️

Adding creativity to the celebration, our volunteers performed a powerful drama highlighting the importance of first aid knowledge, timely action, and community preparedness. ❤️‍🩹🎭
