We work in the fields of human rights, and conflict sensitivity and transformation, to contribute to lasting peace in Sri Lanka. Our team of experienced and committed staff have developed a distinctive, e

Our approach is to look at ways of breaking circles of violence and overcoming conflict in communities through capacity building, coaching and training, networking and cultural exchange, empowerment and participation. Sri Lanka is a post conflict nation experiencing from an identity based crisis that is preventing citizens sharing a unified sense of humanity. Therefore PCA seek to provide crucial cultural exchanges that reveal a shared humanity in which subjects of identity, rights and democracy are promoted, valued and integrated.

Our former Admin & Finance Assistant passed away on 17.11.2024. On behalf of PCA, we extend our deepest sympathies and her great service remains deeply ingrained in the hearts of PCA staff.

It is true that her loss is irreplaceable for the family. Death is destined for everyone. It will certainly meet everyone one day. But a person's life history is contained in how they lived while they were alive. An example of that is our former staff Vivekanandhi (Vani). While praying to the Lord for the peace of her soul, we also extend our condolences and comfort to her family.
