R.I.P 💔
The world of boxing is mourning.
Former Puerto Rican prospect Prichard Colón has passed away at age 33, ending a courageous 11-year battle following the severe brain injury he suffered in 2015.
An absolute phenom in his youth, Colón captured the 2010 Pan American Youth Championship before building a stellar 16-1 professional record with 13 knockouts. His promising career was tragically cut short in October 2015 during his fight against Terrel Williams.
For more than a decade, supported unconditionally by his family, Prichard showed the world what true resilience looked like. Today, his father confirmed the heartbreaking news of his passing. He may have stepped out of the ring years ago, but his warrior spirit left an unforgettable mark on combat sports.
REST IN PEACE, PRICHARD COLÓN (1992–2026) 💔🕊️
