සහන සේවය 01 ජනවාරි 2026

2026 වසරට ආශීර්වාද පතමින් වසර විස්සකට පෙර 2005 වසරේදී ආරම්භ කරන ලද අපගේ සමාජ සේවා පුණ්‍යකටයුත්ත සුපුරුදු පරිදි මෙම ජනවාරි මස පලමු වන දිනත් පවත්වන ලදි.

මෙම මාසයේ දී වියළි ආහාර පාර්සල් 225 ලබා දීමට ආධාර කරන ලද්දේ ඇමරිකාවේ වාසය කරන දේවිකා වගගේ මහත්මිය තම මියගිය දෙමාපියන්ට පිං පිණිස, ඇමෙරිකාවේ වෙසෙන ඩේවිඩ් අමරසිංහ මහතා සහ රාගම ලෙජන්ඩ්ස් සිංහ සමාජයේ සිංහ අජන්තා ගුණතිලක සහ සිංහ ශාන්ත ගුණතිලක විසිනි.

කඩවත තැපැල් කාර්යාලයෙන් මාසික සහන මුදල් ලබා ගන්නා වැඩිහිටියන් වෙනුවෙන් එම වියළි සලාක ලබා දෙන අතර ඔවුන් වෙත උදේ ආහාර පාර්සලයක් ලබා දීම කඩවත ජයමාවතේ පදිංචි ටී එම් ආර් බී තෙන්නකෝන් මහතා සහ එම මහත්මිය විසිනි. ඔවුන් දෙදෙනාගේම මියගිය දෙමාපියන්ට පිං පිණිස සිදුකරන ලදි.

එම ආධාර ලබා ගැනීමට පැමිණි අසරණ වැඩිහිටියන් වෙත මාළුපාන් සහ කොල කැඳ ලබා දීම රාගම ලෙජන්ඩ්ස් සිංහ සමාජයේ සභාපති තුමා ඇතුලු සාමාජිකයින් විසින් සිදු කරන ලදි.

එම කටයුත්ත ඉටුකිරීමට පැමිණි දානපතියන්ට සහ අපගේ විධායක සභික මහතුන්ට උදේ ආහාරය ලබාදීම අප විධයක සභික කඩවත ඉන්ද්‍රා හෝටලය අධිපති සුදත් හේමන්ත මහතා විසින් සිදුකරන ලදි.

මෙම සියළුම කටයුතු සදහා දායක වූ සහ අනුග්‍රහය දැක්වූ සියලුම දෙනාටත් ඔවුන්ගේ පවුලේ සැමටත් නිදුක් නිරෝගී චිර ජීවනය ප්‍රාර්ථනා කරන අතර ඔවුන් සැමගේ සියලු යහපත් සිතුම් පැතුම් ඉටුවේවායි ප්‍රාර්ථනා කරන්නෙමු. අදින් ආරම්භවන 2026 නව වර්ෂය සියලුම දෙනාට ඉතාම්ත් වාසනාවන්ත එකක් වේවායි පතමු.

With blessings for the year 2026, our charity social service initiative, which was started twenty years ago in 2005, was conducted as customary on the 1st of January this year as well.

During this month, assistance was provided to distribute 225 dry ration parcels. These were generously donated by Mrs. Devika Wagage, who resides in the United States, in memory of her late parents; Mr. David Amarasinha, he also residing in the United States; and Lion Ajanta Gunathilake and Lion Shantha Gunathilake of the Ragama Legends Lions Club.

The dry ration parcels were distributed to elderly beneficiaries who receive their monthly allowance from the Kadawatha Post Office. In addition, breakfast parcels were provided to them by Mr. T. M. R. B. Tennakoon and his wife, residents of Jaya mawatha, Kadawatha, in memory of both of their late parents.

Fish buns and kola kenda (herbal porridge) were served to the underprivileged elderly who came to receive the assistance, and this was carried out by the President and members of the Lions Club of Ragama Legends.

Breakfast was also provided to the donors who attended the event and to our executive committee members by our executive committee member, Mr. Sudath Hemantha, proprietor of Indra Hotel, Kadawatha.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to and supported all these activities. We wish them and their families good health, long life, and happiness, and hope that all their noble thoughts and wishes may come true. As the New Year 2026 begins today, we wish it to be a truly fortunate and prosperous year for everyone.🙏🙏🙏

සුපුරුදු පරිදි මෙම දෙසැම්බර් මස පලමු වන දිනත් අපගේ ප්‍රජා සේවා කටයුත්ත වන සහන සේවය පවත්වන ලදි. වසර විස්සකට පෙර 2005 වසරේදී ආරම්භ කරන ලද මෙම පුණ්‍ය කටයුත්ත නොකඩවාම මෙම මාසයේදී ත් සිදුකරන ලදි.

මෙම මාසයේ දී වියළි ආහාර පාර්සල් 225 ලබා දීමට ආධාර කරන ලද්දේ කඩවත ව්‍යාපාරිකයින් වන දිනේෂ් අබේරත්න මහතා සහ සොනාලි වීරසේකර මහත්මිය විසිනි.

කඩවත තැපැල් කාර්යාලයෙන් මාසික සහන මුදල් ලබා ගන්නා වැඩිහිටියන් වෙනුවෙන් එම වියළි සලාක ලබා දෙන අතර ඔවුන් වෙත උදේ ආහාර පාර්සලයක් ලබා දීම අපගේ ගරු භාණ්ඩාගාරික පී.ඩී.ප්‍රේමරත්න මහතා සහ එම මහත්මිය විසින් ඔවුන් දෙදෙනාගේම මියගිය දෙමාපියන්ට පිං පිණිස සිදුකරන ලදි.

එම ආධාර ලබා ගැනීමට පැමිණි අසරණ වැඩිහිටියන් වෙත මාළුපාන් සහ කොල කැඳ ලබා දීම රාගම ලෙජන්ඩ්ස් සිංහ සමාජයේ සභාපති තුමා ඇතුලු සාමාජිකයින් විසින් සිදු කරන ලදි.

එම කටයුත්ත ඉටුකිරීමට පැමිණි දානපතියන්ට සහ අපගේ විධායක සභික මහතුන්ට උදේ ආහාරය ලබාදීම අපගේ විධයක සභික කඩවත ඉන්ද්‍රා හෝටලය අධිපති සුදත් හේමන්ත මහතා විසින් සිදුකරන ලදි.

පසුගිය 2020 වසරේදී ලබා දුන් කාඩ්පත් 2025 දෙසැම්බර් මාසයෙන් අවසන් වූ අතර එදින 2026 ජනවාරි මාසයේ පටන් තවත් වසර 5ක් ඉදිරියට වලංගු කාඩ්පතක් අප විසින් සහන සේවා ලාභීන් වෙත ලබාදෙන ලදි.

මෙම සියළුම කටයුතු සදහා දායක වූ සහ අනුග්‍රහය දැක්වූ සියලුම දෙනාටත් ඔවුන්ගේ පවුලේ සැමටත් නිදුක් නිරෝගී චිර ජීවනය ප්‍රාර්ථනා කරන අතර ඔවුන් සැමගේ සියලු යහපත් සිතුම් පැතුම් ඉටුවේවායි ප්‍රාර්ථනා කරන්නෙමු.

As customary, on the first day of this December as well, we carried out our community service program—the monthly relief service. This meritorious initiative, which began twenty years ago in 2005, was continued without interruption this month too.

This month, 225 dry-ration parcels were donated with the generous support of Mr. Dinesh Aberathna and Mrs. Sonali Weerasekara, businesspersons from Kadawatha.

These dry-ration parcels are offered to the elderly who receive their monthly assistance payments from the Kadawatha Post Office. In addition, a morning meal was provided to them by our honorable Treasurer Mr. P. D. Premarathna and his wife, in memory of their late parents.

The elderly who came to receive this assistance were also served malu paan (fish buns) and kola kenda (herbal porridge) by the President and members of Lions Club of Ragama Legends.

Breakfast for the donors who attended the event and for our executive committee members was provided by Mr. Sudath Hemanta, proprietor of Indra Hotel, Kadawatha, who is also one of our executive committee members.

The cards issued in the year 2020 expired in December 2025, and starting from January 2026, we have issued a new card valid for another five years to the beneficiaries of the relief services.

We extend our blessings to all who contributed and supported these activities, wishing them and their families a long life filled with good health, free from suffering. May all their noble wishes be fulfilled.

සුපුරුදු පරිදි මෙම නොවැම්බර් මාසයේ පළමුවන දිනයේ දීත් අපගේ සහන සේවා ව්‍යාපෘතිය පවත්වන ලදි. මේ අපගේ ව්‍යාපෘතියේ විසි එක්වන වසරේ දෙවන මාසයයි. මෙවැනි සමාජසේවා ව්‍යාපෘතියක් නොකඩවාම වසර 20ක් පවත්වාගෙන යාමට අපගේ විධායක සභා සාමාජිකයින් හා අපගේ කාරුණික පරිත්යාගශීලී හිතවතුන්ගේ කැපවීම බෙහෙවින්ම අගය කලයුතුය.

මෙම මාසයේ වියළි ආහාර පාර්සල් ලබාදීමට අනුග්‍රහය ලබා දුන්නේ පී.ඩී.ප්‍රේමරත්න මහතා, රාජා ප්‍රේමදාස මහතා, ඩී.වසන්ත මහතා, අරුණ ශාන්ත හේරත් මහතා සහ ප්‍රියන්ත ජයසේන මහතා යන අයවලුන් විසිනි.

සහන මලු ලබා ගැනීමට පැමිණෙන සෑම දෙනාටම උදේ ආහාර පාර්සලයක් ලබා දීම ඇල්ප්‍රඩ් බැස්ටියන් මහතා විසින් තම මියගිය දෙමාපියන්ට පින් පිණිස සිදුකරන ලදි. ඊට අමතරව එම අවස්ථාවට සහභාගී වූ සියළුම දෙනාට කොළකැඳ කෝප්පයක් සහ මාලු පාන් ගෙඩියක් ලබා දීම රාගම ලෙජන්ඩ්ස් සිංහ සමාජයේ සභාපති තුමා ඇතුළු සාමාජිකයින් විසින් සිදුකරන ලදි.

"මවුපිය සෙවන" වැඩිහිටි නිවාසයට ආධාර මුදල් ලබාදීම එච්.එම්.හේරත් මහතා විසින් සිදු කරන ලදි.

මෙම සහන සේවා කටයුතු සදහා පැමිණෙන පරිත්‍යාගශීලීන්ට සහ විධායක සභිකයින්ට උදෑසන ආහාරය ලබා දීම කඩවත ඉන්ද්‍රා හෝටලය අධිපති සුදත් හේමන්ත මහතා විසින් සිදුකරන ලදි.

As per tradition, our Sahana Sewaya charity project was held once again on the 1st of November 2025. This marks the second month of the 21st year of our ongoing social service initiative. It is truly commendable that our project has continued uninterrupted for 20 years, thanks to the dedication of our executive committee members and the generosity of our kind-hearted donors and well-wishers.

This month’s dry ration packs were sponsored by Mr. P.D. Premarathna, Mr. Raja Premadasa, Mr. D. Wasantha, Mr. Aruna Shantha Herath, and Mr. Priyantha Jayasena.

Breakfast packs provided to all those who came to receive assistance were donated by Mr. Alfred Bastian, in memory of his late parents. In addition, a cup of herbal porridge and a fish bun were offered to everyone present there by the President and the members of the Lions Club of Ragama Legends.

A donation to the “Maupiya Sewana” Elders’ Home was made by Mr. H.M. Herath.

Breakfast for the generous donors and executive committee members who attended the Sahana Sewaya program was provided by Mr. Sudath Hemanta, proprietor of Indra Hotel, Kadawatha.

We extend our heartfelt thanks and blessings to everyone who helped make this meritorious event a success.

Mr. Keerthi Deshapriya, residing at Mahabodhi Mawatha, Kadawatha, and his family are offering the breakfast parcels in memory of their late parents.

Tea and fish buns are provided to the elderly individuals who come to receive financial assistance, by Lion Roshan Kasthuri, the President of Ragama Legends Lion Club, along with its members.

Support for our elders’ home is extended by our respected Executive Committee Member Mr. Nimal Shantha Gunadasa.

Breakfast for our members and sponsors who come to participate in the relief service activities are provided by Mr. Sudath Hemanta, the proprietor of Indra Hotel, Kadawatha, and our esteemed Executive Committee Member.
