The Journey to LCOY Sri Lanka Continues!

As part of the lead-up to LCOY Sri Lanka, Save a Life successfully conducted the Eastern Province, North Western Province, and Uva Province LCOY Consultations, bringing together young people, youth leaders, and climate advocates to discuss province-specific environmental challenges, identify local priorities, and develop youth-led recommendations for climate action.

The consultations were conducted in partnership with:
Eastern Province – We For Us
North Western Province – REEF (Training and Research for Education and Empowerment Foundation) and CP Arts (Centre for Performing Arts)
Uva Province – Uva Shakthi

We sincerely thank our provincial partners and all participants for their valuable contributions and commitment to strengthening youth engagement in climate governance.

With these consultations, we continue to ensure that youth voices from every province are represented in the national LCOY process, contributing to Sri Lanka's climate agenda ahead of COY21 and COP31.

Together, we are building a stronger, more inclusive, and youth-led climate movement across Sri Lanka.
