Save a Life is a youth-led volunteer organization that was founded in 2014 with a primary focus on organizing blood donation camps and raising awareness about the importance of blood donation. Since 2016, Save a Life has expanded its scope to actively engage in the sectors of Environmental Management and Ecosystem Services and Health and Wellbeing of Lives.specific focus on the Northern Province o

f Sri Lanka. Our core focus areas include Youth Development, Gender Equality, Inclusive Education, and Lasting Peace. Mission
To connect and encourage the younger generation in caring for the thriving purpose and to provision the emerging needs for environmental management which could improve the ecosystem services and the quality of life, health and wellbeing of the future generation.

Save a Life organized a Blood Donation Awareness Walk. 🩸

The initiative aimed to promote awareness on the importance of voluntary blood donation and encourage community participation in lifesaving efforts. The walk gave people a chance to engage, highlight the ongoing need for blood donors, and reinforce the value of collective responsibility.

Since 2014, Save a Life has grown from a blood donation initiative into a platform advancing health, environmental sustainability, and social development in Sri Lanka.

Over the past 12 years, we have mobilized youth, strengthened communities, and restored ecosystems promoting dignity, inclusion, and resilience with the support of our volunteers and partners.

As we mark this milestone, we remain committed to innovation, collaboration, and lasting impact.
