This one-day, highly interactive consultation is designed to move beyond talk and into action.

The Lanka Youth Organizations Network (LYON) is pleased to announce the signing of an agreement with the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands in Sri Lanka to formally launch the Youth Toolkit for Internet & Digital Expression (Y-TIDE). 💻✨

Y-TIDE is a comprehensive resource designed to strengthen the capacity of young people to navigate the digital space, safeguard their right to free expression, and promote responsible and secure online engagement.🔓🌐

Highlights from the Stakeholder Meeting with Trade Union Representatives!

On 9th December 2024, the Lanka Youth Organizations Network (LYON), in collaboration with The Asia Foundation, hosted a successful stakeholder meeting at IHRA. This event brought together representatives from trade unions across Sri Lanka to discuss the development of a comprehensive whistleblower protection policy.

🌟 The discussions focused on:
✅ Challenges and opportunities in protecting whistleblowers within the workplace.
✅ Strategies to safeguard workers’ rights while promoting transparency.
✅ How whistleblower protections can support political and human rights in Sri Lanka.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who participated and contributed their valuable insights to this crucial initiative. Your input is instrumental in building a policy that empowers citizens and upholds justice.
