දිස්ත්රික් තේමාව යටතේ Galle Royalty සිංහ සමාජය විසින් ජුලි මස 05 දින, අම්බලන්වත්ත ශ්රී විවේකාරාමය ධර්ම ශාලාවේදී අම්බලන්වත්ත සමෘද්ධි ප්රජා මූල සංවිධානයෙහි සාමාජිකාවන් සඳහා පවතින ඩෙංගු වසංගත රෝග තත්ත්වයේදී

✅ පරිසරය පිරිසුදුව තබා ගැනීමේ ඇති වැදගත්කම සහ එම ක්රියාව සිදු කරන ආකාරය

✅ ඒ සඳහා පුද්ගලිකව දැරිය යුතු වගකීම් පිළිබඳ දැනුවත් කිරීම .

Lions Club of Galle Royalty සමාජයේ සභාපති දේශීය පාරම්පරික වෛද්ය නිලංග වාසල මහතා විසින් ආයුර්වේද ක්රමවේදය ඔස්සේ මදුරුවන් පලවා හැරිමට දුම් ඇල්ලීම ඇතුළු ක්රමවේදය විද්යාත්මකකූලව පහදා දීම,
සිදු කරන ලද අතර, ඔහු විසින් සකස් කරන ලද ඖෂධීය පානය සහභාගි වූ සියලු දෙනාටම ලබාදීමටද කටයුතු කරන ලදී.....
මදුරුවන් බෝවීම වැළැක්වීම සඳහා උගුල පිළිබඳ හඳුන්වාදීමක් දිස්ත්රික් සේවා සම්බන්ධීකාරක සිංහ රවින්ද්ර කුරුවිට MJF විසින් පහදා දුන් අතර ඔවුන් සියලු දෙනාට ඒ පිළිබඳ ප්රායෝගික වැඩමුළුවක් සිදුකිරීමට ඉදිරියේදී කටයුතු ය සූදානම් කිරීමට ද දැනුවත් කරන ලදී. කලාපීය සභාපති සිංහ චන්දිමා හේවාවිතාන MAF මෙම අවස්ථාවට සහභාගි විය.
මෙයට අමතරව මෙම අවස්ථාවට ශ්රී විවේකාරාමාධිපති නායක ස්වාමීන් වහන්සේ ඇතුළුව, ආර්ථික සංවර්ධන නිලධාරීතුමිය, ප්රදේශයේ නිළධාරිතුමා, නාගරික මන්ත්රීනි නිශාන්ති යන මහත්ම මහත්මීන් සහභාගි විය

With dengue continuing to pose a serious public health challenge across Sri Lanka, the Lions Club of Galle Royalty remains committed to creating healthier and safer communities through awareness and action.
On 5th July, Lions Club of Galle Royalty conducted a Dengue Awareness Programme at the Sri Wiwekaramaya Dharma Hall, Ambalanwatta, for members of the Ambalanwatta Samurdhi Community-Based Organization under the District theme, "A Cleaner Environment – A Tomorrow Free from Dengue."
The programme featured an informative session by Senior Public Health Inspector Mr. Keerthi, who highlighted the current dengue situation, effective prevention measures, the importance of maintaining a clean environment, and the shared responsibility of every citizen in controlling the spread of the disease.
Adding a unique perspective, Club President Dr. Nilanga Wasala, an Indigenous Ayurvedic Physician, demonstrated scientifically supported Ayurvedic practices for mosquito control, including herbal fumigation, and warmly offered participants a specially prepared herbal drink.
As part of the programme, District Service Coordinator Lion Ravindra Kuruwita MJF introduced an innovative mosquito trap and announced plans to conduct a practical community workshop in the near future to encourage sustainable dengue prevention practices.
The event was further honoured by the presence of Region Chairperson Lion Chandima Hewawithana MAF, the Chief Incumbent of Sri Wiwekaramaya Temple, the Economic Development Officer, local government representatives, Municipal Councillor Mrs. Nishanthi, and other distinguished guests whose participation strengthened the community's commitment to this important cause.
Every clean home, every clean garden, and every informed citizen brings us one step closer to a dengue-free future.
