PDFC of Sri Lanka(Participatory Development Foundation Centre Of Sri Lanka) is formally constituted and registered under the National Secretariat For Non-Governmental Organizations in Sri Lanka as Non-profit voluntary institute. The main objective of PDFC of Sri Lanka to build up people's faith in themselves in order to identify their own economic,political,cultural,and environmental problems. Thr
ough this process it is anticipated to mobilize people at the grass-root level, whereby they are organized to realize their own strength and power so that they are able to demand their rights. This process is coupled up with a change Agent or Development catalysts program, which helps and facilities the building up of a movement.Once such people's groups are mobilized, the PDFC of Sri Lanka withdraws from the area empowering the people themselves to carry out the process. The central aspect of PDFC of Sri Lanka activity is to build capacity and empower communities. To achieve this goal PDFC of Sri Lanka engage in Livelihood, Poverty Alleviation,Sustainable development, Eco-tourism, Agri-tourism, Human Rights,Community Health,Disaster Management and Relief,Conflict Resolution, Environmental programs, Women development, Religious and cultural activities, Good governance, Sports and library activities, to achieve this goal we network with other Local and International Organizations, We also engage in Event Management activities for other Organizations.
