The first monthly meeting of the Galle Diamond Lions Club, Galle Aradhana Lions Club and Galle Elpitiya Lions Clubs for the year 2026 - 2027 was held on 19th July 2026 at the Nugaduwa BYD Showroom premises, Galle.

After the installation of the officers of the new Lions year, the meeting was held under the patronage of the new presidents of the Lions Clubs.

The appreciation ceremony for the past presidents of the Galle Diamond Lions Club was also held during this session.

The past presidents Lion Lahiru Munasinghe MJF, PMAF and Lion Shantha Kodithuwakku , MAF were appreciated here.

Cabinet Officer Lion Chinthaka Dharmasoma, MAF attended for the event as the chief guest.

The Cabinet Officer of 306 D8 Lion District, Lion Chinthaka Dharmasoma,MAF attended as the chief guest and he installed the new officers of the Lions Clubs.

The oath-taking ceremony of Lion Rajitha Shiran as a new member of the Galle Elpitiya Lions Club was also held here.

ගාල්ල විද්‍යාලෝක විද්‍යාලයේ ප්‍රථමාධාර අංශය නවිකරණය කර ඒ සදහා අවශ්‍ය පුටු, මේස, බෙහෙත් අල්මාරි මෙන්ම අත්‍යවශ්‍ය උපකරණ ලබාදීමක් 2025 පෙබරවාරි 04 දින සිදුකරන ලදී.

ගාල්ල ඩයමන්ඩි සිංහ සමාඡයේ අධ්‍යක්ෂ මණ්ඩල සාමාඡික මෙන්ම විද්‍යාලෝක විද්‍යාලයේ ආදි ශිෂ්‍ය සිංහ මහේෂ් අමරසිරි, MAF විසින් මෙම වැඩසටහනේ ව්‍යාපෘති සභාපති වශයෙන් කටයුතු කරන ලද අතර, අදාල ව්‍යාපෘතිය සදහා රු.115000.00 ක මුදලක් වැයකරන ලදී.

ගාල්ල ඩයමන්ඩි සිංහ සමාඡයේ සභාපති සිංහ ශාන්ත, MAF ද මෙම අවස්ථාව සදහා සහභාගී වනලදී.

Galle Diamond සිංහ සමාඡයේ 2026 ඡනවාරි මස මාසික රැස්වීම සහ මෙල්වින් ඡෝන්ස් සැමරැම ගාල්ල නුගදූව BYD Centre හිදී පවත්වන ලදී.

306 ඩී 8 සිංහ දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ GST සමිබන්ධීකාරක සිංහ චින්තක ධර්මසෝම,MAF මෙම උත්සවයේ ප්‍රධාන ආරාධිත දේශකයා වශයෙන් සහභාගී වන ලදී.

ගාල්ල ඩයමන්ඩි සිංහ සමාඡයේ අධ්‍යක්ෂ මණ්ඩල සාමාඡික මෙන්ම කළාපීය සභාපති වන සිංහ ලහිරැ මුණසිංහ, MJF, PMAF සහ බහුතර සිංහයින්ගේ ප්‍රධානත්වයෙන් පැවති මෙම උත්සවය සදහා Galle Aradhana සිංහ සමාඡයේ සිංහයින් කිහිප දෙනෙකුද සහභාගී වන ලදී.

සිංහ ඡාත්‍යන්තරය විසින් 2026.01.03 දින සිට 2026.01.11 දින දක්වා නමි කරන කරන ලද කුසගින්න සතියට සමගාමීව ගාල්ල ඩයමන්ඩි සිංහ සමාඡය විසින් සේවා ව්‍යාපෘතියක් පවත්වන ලදී.

ඒ අනුව ආනන්ගොඩ, ගාල්ල පිහිටි තිසර පෙර පාසැලේ දරුවන් 18 දෙනෙකු සහ කාර්ය මණ්ඩලය වෙනුවෙන් දිවා ආහාර සහ අතුරුපස ලබාදීමක් සිදුකරන ලදී.

ගාල්ල ඩයමන්ඩි සිංහ සමාඡයේ සභාපති සහ ලේකමි තුමා මෙන්ම පවුල්වල සාමාඡිකාවන් කිහිප දෙනෙකුද මෙම ව්‍යාපෘතිය සදහා සහභාගී වන ලදී.

The Galle Diamond Lions Club donated text books and school supplies to the children of Gamipola Berawila College who were displaced by the recent landslides and floods.

The textbooks and school supplies were donated to the “Helping Hands – Dakune Api” Foundation's donation collection center on 31st December 2025.

The President, Secretary and several other Lions of the Galle Diamond Lions Club participated in the event.

Lion Jinesh Nanayakkara, Vice President of the Galle Diamond Lions Club, acted as the chairman of this project.
