🦁❤️ Galle City New Century සිංහ සමාජයෙන් තවත් සුවිශේෂී බහුසේවා සමාජ සත්කාරයක්
2026 අගෝස්තු 20 වන දින, අක්මීමන – කපුහෙම්පල පිහිටි අන්ධ වැඩිහිටි නේවාසික නිවාසයේ නේවාසිකයන් වෙනුවෙන් Galle City New Century සිංහ සමාජය විසින් තවත් සුවිශේෂී බහුසේවා සමාජ සත්කාර වැඩසටහනක් ක්රියාත්මක කරන ලදී.
මෙම ව්යාපෘතිය ව්යාපෘති සභාපති සිංහ තරංගා වැලිවිටිය මහත්මියගේ ප්රධානත්වයෙන් සංවිධානය කරන ලද අතර, 306 D8 සිංහාධිපති සිංහ රවී කලන්සූරිය, සිංහාධිපතිගේ සම්බන්ධීකාරක සිංහ ගයාන් ද සිල්වා, කලාපීය සභාපතිනි සිංහ තනුජා විජේසිංහ ඇතුළු ආරාධිත සිංහයන් රැසක්ද, Galle City New Century සිංහ සමාජයේ සාමාජිකයන් ද සහභාගී වූහ.
🌿 සිදුකළ විශේෂ සමාජ සත්කාර
01. 🍛 පෝෂ්යදායී දහවල් ආහාර වේලක් ලබාදීම
අන්ධ වැඩිහිටි නේවාසිකයන් වෙනුවෙන් සෞඛ්ය සම්පන්න දහවල් ආහාර වේලක් ලබාදෙන ලදී.
ආහාර සඳහා දායකත්වය ලබාදුන්නේ සිංහ ආචාර්ය චතුර වැලිවිටිය සහ සිංහ තරංගා වැලිවිටිය විසිනි. යෝගට් සැපයීම සිංහ ඉරේෂා ජානකි හා කෙසෙල් ලබාදීම සිංහ යුගන්ති ගුණසේකර මහත්මීන් දායක වූහ.
02. 🛏️ නේවාසිකයන් සඳහා ඇඳන් සහ මෙට්ට ලබාදීම
නේවාසිකයන්ගේ සුවපහසු නින්ද සහ ජීවන තත්ත්වය වැඩිදියුණු කිරීම සඳහා ඇඳක් සහිත මෙට්ට ලබාදෙන ලදී.
මෙම පරිත්යාගය සිංහ තරංගා වැලිවිටියගේ සම්බන්ධීකරණයෙන් නිවමාල් සනස්ත වීරසිංහ මහතා විසින් අනුග්රහය දක්වන ලදී.
03. 🌱 රුක් රෝපණ හා ඖෂධීය පැළ රෝපණ වැඩසටහන
පරිසර හිතකාමී හා සෞඛ්ය ප්රවර්ධන වැඩසටහනක් ලෙස වටිනා ඖෂධීය පැළ ලබාදී නිවාස පරිශ්රයේ රෝපණය කරන ලදී.
මෙම වැඩසටහන සිංහාධිපති සිංහ රවී කලන්සූරියගේ ප්රධානත්වයෙන් සිදුකළ අතර, පැළ ලබාදීම සඳහා සිංහ ඉරේෂා ජානකි මහත්මිය දායක වූවාය.
04. 🩺 නොමිලේ වෛද්ය සායනයක්
නේවාසික වැඩිහිටියන් සඳහා දියවැඩියාව, අක්ෂි දුර්වලතා සහ අනෙකුත් කායික රෝග පිළිබඳ වෛද්ය පරීක්ෂණ සිදුකර අවශ්ය උපදෙස් සහ ඖෂධ ලබාදෙන ලදී.
මේ සඳහා අක්මීමන සිංහ සමාජය සහ කරාපිටිය රෝහලේ සිංහ වෛද්යවරුන් වන වෛද්ය නන්දන සහ වෛද්ය නයනා මහත්ම මහත්මීන්ගේ වෛද්ය සහාය ලැබුණු අතර, ඖෂධ සඳහා සිංහ එරංග මහතාගේ දායකත්වයද විශේෂයෙන් අගය කරමු.
05. 🎶❤️ මානසික සුවය සඳහා රසවින්දන වැඩසටහනක්
නේවාසිකයන්ගේ මානසික සුවය, සතුට සහ සමාජීය සම්බන්ධතාව වැඩිදියුණු කිරීම සඳහා ගීත හා සංගීතයෙන් සමන්විත රසවින්දන වැඩසටහනක්ද පැවැත්විය.
මෙම අවස්ථාවට නේවාසිකයන් සමඟ සිංහ සේනක විමලධර්ම, සිංහ සම්පත් ගුණවර්ධන, රමින්දී වැලිවිටිය ඇතුළු සිංහයන්ගේ දූ දරුවන් ද එක්වීම විශේෂත්වයක් විය.

Galle City New Century සිංහ සමාජය විසින් ඉදිරියටත් මෙවැනි බහුසේවා සමාජ සත්කාර වැඩසටහන් ක්රියාත්මක කරමින් අවශ්යතාව ඇති පුද්ගලයන් හා ප්රජාවන් වෙනුවෙන් සේවය කිරීමට කැපවී සිටී.
🦁❤️ Another Special Multi-Service Community Service Project by the Galle City New Century Lions Club
On 20 August 2026, the Galle City New Century Lions Club conducted another special multi-service community service project for the residents of the Blind Elders’ Residential Home in Kapuhempla, Akmeemana.
The project was organized under the leadership of Project Chairperson Lion Tharanga Welivitiya. The event was attended by District Governor 306 D8 Lion Ravi Kalansuriya, District Governor’s Coordinator Lion Gayan de Silva, Zone Chairperson Lion Thanuja Wijesinghe, several distinguished Lions, and members of the Galle City New Century Lions Club.
🌿 Special Community Services Provided
01. 🍛 Providing a Nutritious Lunch
A healthy and nutritious lunch was provided for the residents of the home.
The meal was sponsored by Lion Dr. Chathura Welivitiya and Lion Tharanga Welivitiya. Lion Iresha Janaki contributed yogurt, while Lion Yugandhi Gunasekara provided bananas.
02. 🛏️ Providing Beds and Mattresses
Beds with mattresses were donated to improve the comfort, quality of sleep, and living conditions of the residents.
This donation was sponsored by Mr. Nivamal Sanastha Weerasinghe, coordinated by Lion Tharanga Welivitiya.
03. 🌱 Tree Planting and Medicinal Plant Programme
As an environmentally friendly and health-promoting initiative, valuable medicinal plants were provided and planted within the premises of the residential home.
The programme was conducted under the leadership of District Governor Lion Ravi Kalansuriya, with Lion Iresha Janaki contributing the plants.
04. 🩺 Free Medical Clinic
A free medical clinic was conducted for the elderly residents. Medical examinations were carried out for diabetes, vision problems, and other health conditions, and necessary medical advice and medicines were provided.
Medical assistance was provided by the Akmeemana Lions Club and Lion Doctors Dr. Nandana and Dr. Nayana from Karapitiya Hospital. We especially appreciate Lion Eranga for his contribution towards providing medicines.
05. 🎶❤️ Entertainment Programme for Mental Well-being
An entertainment programme featuring music and singing was also organized to promote the mental well-being, happiness, and social interaction of the residents.
A special feature of the event was the participation of Lions and their children, including Lion Senaka Wimaladharma, Lion Sampath Gunawardena, and Ramindi Welivitiya, who joined the residents and shared this meaningful experience with them.
