Yesterday, (2026.06.17)the Youth Volunteers of the Sri Lanka Red Cross Society Gampaha Branch successfully conducted the Post Distribution Monitoring (PDM) Survey following the School Kit Distribution project supported through the Hong Kong Red Cross DRF Pledge for Cyclone Ditwah-affected communities.

As communicated during the orientation meetings, the PDM process is an important step in assessing the effectiveness of the distribution activity and gathering valuable feedback from beneficiaries.

Our dedicated Youth Volunteers carried out surveys in five schools, ensuring that the voices and experiences of the recipients were captured to help improve future humanitarian interventions.

A sincere thank you to all our Youth Volunteers for their commitment, hard work, and enthusiasm in making this activity a success.

With over 42,000 reported cases across 89 high-risk MOH areas, the situation demands our immediate attention.
Mosquitoes take only 7 to 10 days to grow from an egg to a breeding adult, meaning the standing water in your own backyards could be the starting point for the next spike.
We can break the cycle together. It takes just 30 minutes a week to protect your loved ones. โค๏ธ
