Peter Duncan
The birth of Peter Duncan Foundation (PDF) took place on 10th January 2016, the day of his funeral when Dhammika Liyanage (DL) pledged to take this noble effort forward by creating ‘the big picture’ of his dream. Family, friends and well wishes of both Peter and Dhammika rallied round and pledged to back this cause to reach it, to it’s true potential.
“I shall build Peter Duncan’s Green Platoon (PDGP) to place Deltota not only as ‘The Greener City’ on earth, but also groom every single citizen living in this area to embrace and take forward this concept of loving and treating all living things equally without creating any barriers such as cast, creed, color, race, religion, shape or form. I shall do this with a passion and do it to my best of strength by educating and bringing people together to work towards same and vouch not to claim the credit of it’s reality, but to share with all who contributed to make things happen” – Dhammika Liyanage
