Established in 1990, Almuslimaath is a registered charitable organisation dedicated to empowering and educating women across Sri Lanka. Al Muslimaath is a charitable NGO set up in 1990; it is registered with the social services as a Charitable and Developmental Organization. Our main objective is to educate the Muslims and non Muslims on Islamic sharia from the Quran
and sunna in their pure form and secondarily to uplift the living conditions of marginalized & destitute women and families through many projects delivered by our dedicated volunteers and Staff. This is an Islamic based entity, therefore we endeavor and profess the principles, values and lifestyles based on the Holy Quran and Sunna. However, our clients will be assisted whether they are Muslism or not. For we believe all human beings are creations of Allah and all deserve the same treatment and care. We serve the entire island - from North to South and East to West, for we do not have boundaries to serve the needs of the needy. Each individual, each family who come to us are treated with respect, personal care and empathy. Masha Allah, in the last 20 years of operation we have networked with more than 58 organizations and continue to do so and build bridges of understanding with each other. We emphasize the universality of suffering and the ability to help each other if only we take enough interest in the others. We also have been in touch with many people, Srilankans and foreigners, for human suffering and needs are all over the globe not just Sri Lanka. Our partners and donors are from Canada, United States, Australia, United Kingdom, Qatar and Saudi Arabia to name a few. We are not affiliated with any other organization in the world nor do we have any branches in any part of the country or the world. Our Organization’s main offices are located in Colombo and staffed by experienced and empathetic staff and volunteers. Our business is Education, both religious and secular, coupled with Human Welfare – Women of all ages and their families as the focus. We take a holistic attitude when dealing with the problems our women face. We strongly believe it is better to teach to fish that to provide fish for food. Therefore education and empowerment take priority in all our projects. We welcome you to be part of this community to help the needy by your contribution. කාන්තාව විසින් කාන්තාව වෙනුවෙන් වූ අල්මුස්ලිමාත් කාන්තා සංවිධානය
අල්මුස්ලිමාත් 1990 වර්ෂයෙදී රාජ්ය නොවන සංවිධානයක් වන අතර එය සමාජ සේවා යටතේ පුණ්යා්ධාර සහ සංවර්ධන සමිතියක් ලෙස ලියා පදිංච් වී ඇත. අපගේ ප්ර ධාන අරමුණ වන්නේ මුස්ලිමි සහ මුස්ලිම් නොවන අයවලුන් සදහා මුස්ලිමි ශරියා, කුරානය සහ සුන්නා යනාදියේ පිරිසිදු ස්වභාවයෙන් ඉගැන්වීම සහ දෙවනුව, අප සංවිධානයේ කැපවී සේවය කරන ස්වෙච්ඡා සහ නිලධාරින් විසින් විපතට පත් සහ සමාජය විසින් කොන් කරන ලද කාන්තාවන් සහ ඔවුන්ගේ පවුල් වල ජීවන තත්ත්වයන් ඉහළ දැමීමට ක්රිායා කිරීමත් ය.
මෙය ඉස්ලාම් ආගම පාදක කොට ගත් ආයතනයක් වන අතර, එමනිසා අප උත්සාහ දරන්නේ ශුද්ධ වූ කුරානය සහ සුන්නා හි මූලධර්මය, වටිනාකමි සහ ජීවන ශෛලිය ගැනකියාදීමටය. එසේවුවද, මුස්ලමි හෝ මුස්ලිමි නොවන හෝ අප සේවා දායකයින්ට උපකාර කරනු ලැබේ. අප විශ්වාස කරන්නේ සෑම සත්ත්වයෙකුම අල්ලාහ් දෙවියන්ගේ නිර්මාණයක් නිසා එක සමාන සැලකිල්ලක් සහ දයාවක් දැක්විය යුතු බවයි. අප සේවය දීපව්යාිප්තය. උතුරේ සිට දකුණටත්, නැගෙණහිර සිට බටහිරටත් සීමා නොමැතිව සේවය කරමු. අප වෙත එන සෑම පුද්ගලයෙක්ම, සෑම පවුලක්ම ගෞරවයෙන් හා කරුණාවෙන් සළකනු ලැබේ.
පසුගිය වසර 20ක කාලයක් තුල අප ආයතනය සංවිධාන 58ක් සමග ජාලගත වී සහයෝගය සදහා පාලමක් වශයෙන් ක්රිියා කොට ඇත. ගෝලීය දුක්ඛිත තත්ත්වයන් හුවා දක්වමින් ඔවුනොවුන්ට උපකාර කිරීමේ හැකියාව ඇත්තේ තේරුම්ගැනීම සහ අනුන් කෙරෙහි ලැදියාවක් ඇත්නම් පමණි. මෙම දුක්ඛිත තත්ත්වයන් පවතින්නේ ශ්රී ලංකාව තුල පමණක් නොවේ. එය ගෝලීය වශයෙන් සිදුවන්නකී. අප සංවිධානයේ සහකරුවන් සහ පරිත්යාීගශීලීන් කැනඩාව, ඇමරිකාව, ඔස්ට්රේජලියාව, එංගලන්තය, කටාර් රාජ්යාය සහ සවුදි අරාබිය ඉන් රටවල් කිහිපයකි. නමුත් අප වෙනත් කිසිම සංවිධානයක් සමග අනුබද්ධිත වී නොමැති අතර, ලෝකයේ වෙනත් රටක අපගේ ශාඛාවක් පිහිටුවා නැත.
අපගේ ප්රිධාන කාර්යාලය කොළඹ පිහිටා ඇති අතර අත්දැකීම් ඇති කාර්ය මණ්ඩලයක් සහ ස්වෙච්ඡා සේවකයන් සේවය කරති. අපෙගේ මූලික කටයුත්ත වන්නේ සෑම වයස් ඛාණ්ඩයකම ස්ත්රීින් සහ ඔවුනගේ පවුල් සෙවිල්ලට ගනිමින් ආගමික හා ලෝකීය අධ්යා පනයක් ලබා දිමයි.
එබැවින් ස්ත්රීෙන්ගේ ගැටඵ විසදීමේදී හා ඔවුන් බලගැන්වීමේදී අධ්යා පනය අපගේ සෑම ව්යා්පෘතියකම මුල් තැන ගනී.
