Restoring Livelihoods. Rebuilding Resilience. 🌱

Livelihood recovery support inputs were distributed to 40 families affected by Cyclone Ditwah under the Colombo–Kolonnawa DS Division, supporting affected households to restore their livelihoods and strengthen their economic resilience.

The distribution event was attended by the Director of Muslim Aid Sri Lanka, representatives from the Kolonnawa Divisional Secretariat, GN and EDO, respective Masjid Board members, and other key stakeholders.

With the generous support of our donors, we continue to stand alongside communities as they recover, rebuild, and work towards more resilient livelihoods.

Empowering young people with opportunities to build a brighter future!

A Career Guidance Programme was successfully conducted for 30 school dropout youth in the Gelioya area. The session provided valuable insights into current job market trends, in-demand vocational courses, and accredited training service providers, helping participants make informed decisions about their future careers.

As part of the initiative, selected participants will receive scholarships to pursue Nursing and ICT courses, equipping them with practical skills and improving their prospects for sustainable employment.

Together, we are creating pathways to education, skills development, and brighter futures.
