Join us to help make a cleaner, safer neighbourhood, in which we are commited to work together to resolve issues pertaining to our area and build a stronger comunity. We are a group of like minded residents from the Dehiwala-Mount Lavinia-Ratmalana municipality area who are passionate about our community and neighbourhood. Our ethos is to stand up to what is right and want to be a catalyst to represent residents in their day to day issues pertaining to municipal matters. We stand against illegal construction projects that violate UDA guidelines, inefficient garbage collection and other common issues that continues to be neglected by officials.

Abandoning Kittens Is Illegal Please Help Us Identify Those Responsible

It is extremely disappointing that two individuals were recently seen abandoning kittens within the Dehiwala Residence area.

We would like to remind everyone that abandoning or dumping animals is not only irresponsible and inhumane, but it is also against the law.

If anyone recognises these individuals or has any information that may help identify them, please contact the Dehiwala Residence Association privately. Any information shared will be treated confidentially.

If you recognise the individuals in the video, please send the information to us via private message. This is purely to prevent similar incidents from happening again and to take the appropriate action.

The Pfizer vaccine is being administered as a 3rd booster dose to those over 60 years.
This is currently being administered at D S Jayasinghe hall (both today and tomorrow - 18th and 19th of November).
Please check with you GN for your relevant location.
Please note you need to have a 3 month gap since your last vaccine to be eligible to receive this dose.
