Abhimana Community Development (guarantee) Ltd. (ACDA)-Dambulla
Abhimana Community Development (guarantee) Itd is a Non- Profit, Non-Governmental Organization engaged in diverse Child and Youth Development interventions in Anuradhapura, Polonnaruwa, Matale, Monaragala, Hambanthota and Mulaithivu districts.
We are looking for qualified, experienced Sri Lanka candidates for the following position.
Program Officer - 01 Position (Matale)
Job Summary:
Accountable for overall implementation of program activities.
Coordination with communities, stakeholders, & partners in consultation with supervisor
Use program related material & interventions effectively as expected by ACDA.
Submit progress reports & required documents with updated data & Information as scheduled.
Responsible for timely submission of monthly estimates & expenses report with relevant documents as necessary.
Provide necessary data, information, reports, success stories & etc. to the management of the organization in timely manner.
Ensure effective monitoring and evaluation process.
Program Officer will report to Program Manager.
Required Qualifications, experience and Competencies: -
Degree in Social Sciences / Social Work or other relevant fields preferably with two years experiences in similar or higher position in the development sector
Or
Diploma in Social Service with a combination of five years' experiences in the development sector
Technical expertise in community based rehabilitation & institutional development & organizational strengthening
Two-year work experience in development
Experiences in organizational strengthening program
Experience in coordination & networking with external agencies, government authorities & CBOs
Language & Literacy
Ability dialogue / communicate effectively (Verbal & written) in Sinhala & English is essential. Ability to communicate in Tamil is an advantage.
Computer Literacy: Advance level of familiarity with the basic hardware and software, digital media & Internet concepts & ability to use personal computers for data entry, word processing, spreadsheets, presentations and
electronic communications.
Driving ability:
Have a valid Motor Cycle driving license
Salary: Negotiable
