Access to safe and clean drinking water is essential for preserving health, dignity and sustainable community development.
On 10th March 2026, Muslim Hands Sri Lanka successfully installed a Reverse Osmosis (RO) plant in Karatheevu, providing nearly 540 families with consistent access to purified drinking water. This initiative not only addresses immediate water needs but also contributes to long-term health improvements and resilience within the community.
As part of Muslim Hands Sri Lanka’s ongoing humanitarian efforts, this project reflects a strong commitment to uplifting underserved communities through impactful and sustainable solutions.
Aligned with SDG 6: Clean Water and Sanitation, it stands as a testament to the organization’s mission of creating meaningful change where it is needed most.
Sincere thanks to everyone who supported this project, your generosity and compassion continue to transform lives and bring hope to communities in need.
