Distribution of Household Items at Megoda Kolonnawa

As part of the ongoing Emergency Disaster Relief measures, Human Care Foundation, with the sponsorship of International Humanitarian Relief Canada (IHRC), distributed essential household items to approximately 600 families from all communities in Megoda Kolonnawa today, Tuesday, 23 December 2025, at the premises of the Abu Bakr Mosque.

Restoring normalcy to the lives of the affected people remains a primary responsibility of all stakeholders committed to safeguarding the well-being of vulnerable and needy communities.

HCF Mobile Medical Camps & Emergency Support in North west Province of Sri Lanka

The Human Care Foundation (HCF) successfully conducted Mobile Medical Camps across the North west province of Sri Lanka today, (02.12.2025) providing essential healthcare services to families affected by recent hardships. Our dedicated medical teams offered Common Medical Services, attended to urgent health needs, and facilitated Emergency Patient Transport for those requiring immediate care.

In addition to medical support, HCF distributed hygiene packs to affected children, ensuring they have access to basic sanitary necessities during this difficult period.

Our Common Medical Services will continue tomorrow, as we remain committed to safeguarding the health and well-being of the community.

HCF extends its gratitude to all volunteers, donors, and supporters who make these life-saving initiatives possible. Together, we continue to serve humanity with dedication and compassion.

In the wake of the devastating floods and earth slips that severely affected families in Gampola, the Human Care Foundation (HCF) mobilized its dedicated emergency response team to stand by our brothers and sisters during this challenging time.
