Team Aura โ Flood Relief Assistance | Phase 6 โ Mahiyanganaya ๐ฑ๐ฐ๐คโจ
We respectfully present the Phase 6 Flood Relief Budget Report, outlining the implementation, financial accountability, and outcomes of our educational support initiative carried out in Mahiyanganaya, Badulla District. The total donations received for Phase 6 amounted to LKR 1,849,600.00, which enabled Team Aura to deliver meaningful and timely assistance to flood-affected communities.
Through this phase, 310 students across five schools received comprehensive school bag packages containing essential stationery, books, footwear, and basic necessities, allowing students to resume their education with dignity and confidence following the floods.
Upon the successful completion of all Phase 6 activities and settlement of planned program expenses, a remaining balance of LKR 23,000 was recorded. In alignment with Team Auraโs broader humanitarian objectives, this balance was responsibly utilised for roof restoration works at Maraka Divisional Hospital, under the Divisional Secretariat of Ukuwela, Matale District. All supporting documentation and transfer confirmations are included to ensure full transparency.
This initiative was made possible through the generous support of our donors, trusted partners, and dedicated volunteers. We extend our sincere gratitude to Chazing Bros Australia, Gami Daruwo Organisation Sri Lanka and Sky Runner Shoes for their invaluable contributions in making Phase 6 a success.
We also sincerely apologise for the delay in sharing this budget report and thank everyone for their patience and continued trust. Transparency, accountability and responsible stewardship of funds remain at the core of Team Auraโs mission.
Together, we are not just delivering aid, we are delivering hope, dignity and care ๐ค๐๐ป
