Waves of Hope Project – Photo Exhibition
The Lions Club of Udahamulla, in collaboration with the Leo Club of Raththanapitiya, successfully organized the “Waves of Hope” Coral Restoration Photo Exhibition on 23rd August 2025 at Browns Beach, Negombo.
The event was graced by several distinguished guests, including:

• Guest of Honour: Past International Director Lion Sanjay Khetan PMJF
• District Governor (D7): Lion Gaya Upasena PMJF
• Lion Lasantha Perera MJF – PMCC
• Lion Viduranga – 2nd VDG
• Lion Chandana Mahanama – Cabinet Secretary
• Lion Asanka Wijewardana – Environment Head
• Lion Manoj Guruge
• Hon. Sunil Watagala – Deputy Minister
• Several senior government officials
The exhibition highlighted the importance of coral conservation and showcased the efforts of Lions and Leos in restoring marine ecosystems for future generations.
