Did you know you blink around 15–20 times every minute? 👁️
Each blink helps spread the tear film across the surface of your eyes, supporting moisture, comfort, and clear vision.
Small actions like blinking play an important role in everyday eye health.

More than 800 million people worldwide live with near-vision impairment linked to uncorrected presbyopia. 👓
Presbyopia is a natural age-related change in near focusing, often becoming noticeable from around the age of 40. If you find yourself holding your phone or reading material farther away, it may be a sign that your near vision is changing.
Awareness is the first step toward better vision care.

Some eye conditions announce themselves. Glaucoma often doesn't. 🔎

Certain forms of glaucoma can develop gradually, with few noticeable symptoms during the early stages. That's exactly why regular, comprehensive eye examinations are so important — particularly for people with recognised risk factors such as increasing age or a family history.

An examination can detect changes that you may not feel yourself, allowing earlier professional discussion and monitoring.

Haven't had your eyes checked in a while? It may be a good time.

Vision slowly becoming cloudy or dim? ☁️👁️

One common reason is cataract — when the eye's natural lens, normally clear, gradually becomes cloudy. According to WHO, cataract affects around 94 million people and remains a major cause of vision impairment worldwide.

Cataract usually develops slowly, so changes can be easy to overlook. The good news: it's well understood, and a professional eye examination can determine what's happening and discuss appropriate options.

If your vision has been gradually worsening, don't put it off — speak with a qualified eye-care professional.
