Theresa's Church Thimbirigasyaya is a charity organisation which has been in operation for over 40 years and comes under the direct guidance of the Colombo South Deanery. Our Society is comprised entirely of volunteers who collectively dedicate their time and talent to support and help people in need achieve a better quality of life for themselves and their families
Our society provides a variet
y of support services including:
- Granting Monthly Pensions to the poor
- Making home visits to care for the Sick and Infirm
- Running Free Medical Clinics twice a month
- Providing free Medicine and Nourishment
- Assisting in the Education of poor Children
- Carrying out out repairs and renovations to homes of the poor
- Assisting at Funerals
We work through volunteers from diverse backgrounds and we raise funds to support these activities through various projects including Breakfast Sales, Table Sales, Jumble Sales, Car Boot Sales and through sponsorships and donations.
