A Proud Milestone for Sri Lankan Emergency Medicine

We are pleased to announce that 2026 marks a historic milestone for The Sri Lanka College of Emergency Physicians (SLCEP), as the College has received Full membership in the International Federation for Emergency Medicine (IFEM) for the first time with voting rights.

SLCEP now has the opportunity to actively contribute to and influence international Emergency Medicine advocacy, policy development, and the advancement of emergency care worldwide.
