Driving change. Protecting lives. Building a safer Sri Lanka.
Rotary District 3220 successfully launched the “Helmet Hero” Project & Road Safety Conference, bringing together leading voices from road safety, healthcare, engineering, law enforcement and the private sector to address one of the most pressing challenges on our roads.
The conference was led by PP Rtn. Dr. Ruwan Thushara, District Project Chair – Road Safety, alongside PP Prof. Samath D. Dharmaratna, whose vision and leadership brought together key stakeholders to create greater awareness, inspire responsible road use and drive meaningful action towards saving lives.
The “Helmet Hero” Project goes beyond promoting helmet use, it aims to build a lasting culture of road safety, particularly among young road users, and prevent injuries, loss of life and the devastating impact road crashes have on families.
