What does diplomacy really look like beyond headlines, speeches, and international summits?

Step inside the world of diplomacy through a unique 6-week immersive learning experience designed for Sri Lanka’s emerging leaders.

The Global Citizenship & Youth Diplomacy Program offers a rare opportunity to learn directly from diplomats, ambassadors, and international affairs practitioners while exploring diplomacy, global engagement, leadership, negotiation, protocol, and international relations.

The journey has officially begun.

Friday the 5th of June 2026, we proudly welcomed 30 outstanding young leaders to the Active Youth Program (AYP) Phase 5, marking the beginning of a transformative six-month journey of leadership, civic engagement, critical thinking, governance, community action, and personal growth.

Selected from a highly competitive pool of applicants, these young changemakers took their first step into a space designed not just to learn, but to challenge ideas, build meaningful connections, engage with experts, and become active citizens capable of shaping the future.

The energy in the room was inspiring. New friendships were formed, diverse perspectives were shared, and a common commitment emerged to lead with purpose and create positive impact.

This is more than a program.

It is a community.
It is a movement.
It is a commitment to building the next generation of leaders for Sri Lanka and beyond.
