✨2026 Annual Appeal Launch | Giving Hope✨

The Salvation Army Sri Lanka Territory officially launched its 2026 Annual Appeal at Colombo Central Corps under the inspiring theme, "Giving Hope."

We were honoured by the presence of our Chief Guest, Mr. D. Theverasingheam, Secretary of the Methodist Church of Sri Lanka, along with our International Secretaries for the South Asia Zone, Commissioners John and Mani Kumari Dasari.

The evening was filled with inspiring messages, prayer, and a renewed commitment to serving vulnerable individuals and communities across Sri Lanka. Through the 2026 Annual Appeal, we continue our mission of bringing hope, dignity, and practical support to those in need.

A heartfelt thank you to our donors, volunteers, officers, soldiers, and friends whose generosity makes this ministry possible. We also extend our sincere appreciation to Captain Yohan Peiris, Territorial Social Services Secretary, for his dedicated leadership in making this launch a success.

Today, we joyfully celebrated the 161st Anniversary of The Salvation Army at Territorial Headquarters 🎉

It was a wonderful time of worship, thanksgiving, and fellowship with our officers and staff as we reflected on God's faithfulness throughout the years. We thank God for 161 years of ministry, service, and sharing the hope of Jesus Christ, and we pray for His continued guidance and blessings in the years ahead.
