''අපි යනවා අලුත් තැනකට''

The new oncology pharmacy at National Hospital Kandy was officially opened today.

After Apeksha Hospital, the largest number of cancer patients in Sri Lanka receive treatment at the National Hospital Kandy. Accordingly, the new oncology pharmacy at the hospital was ceremonially opened today by the Hospital Director. The Chief Pharmacist, pharmacists, and other hospital staff members participated in the event.

We hope that this pharmacy will become a valuable support for cancer patients suffering across the island by providing better access to essential oncology medications and services.

Had a productive meeting today with the Eastern Province Hon. Governor, Jayantha Lal Ratnasekara,to discuss key issues related to the Government Pharmacists’ service and the pharmaceutical supply chain within the province.

The Hon. Governor showed a highly positive and proactive approach, engaging wholeheartedly in addressing these matters on behalf of both pharmacists and the general public.

We look forward to continued collaboration to strengthen healthcare services and ensure an efficient medicine supply system in the province.
