CCWE Fashion Week & International Summit 2026 Brought Together 550 Women Entrepreneurs to Celebrate Inclusion, Innovation and Collective Action - The International Summit reached a significant milestone with the participation of Her Excellency Prime Minister Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, whose presence reaffirmed the Government's commitment to advancing women's economic empowerment.

Addressing the gathering, the Prime Minister highlighted that empowering women economically is essential for building an inclusive, equitable and prosperous Sri Lanka. She recognised the important role played by women entrepreneurs, community organisations and partnerships in creating sustainable economic opportunities and encouraged continued collaboration between government, civil society and the private sector to remove barriers faced by women.
