Round Table is a social networking and charitable organisation for men in their 20s, 30s, and early 40s, founded in Norwich in the United Kingdom, in 1927. It is open to all men aged between 18 and 45. Membership of Round Table provides a selection of social and community service related opportunities for its members, who come from all parts of the community. From the beginning, the Round Table ha
s been a non-religious, non-political, and non-sectarian club, an ethos that still underpins the movement today and is open to Membership by Invitation Only. The first Round Table was formed in Norwich, England in 1927. The Round Table is now a truly international movement, with active members in most European countries, as well as Africa, the Middle East, India, Hong Kong, New Zealand, and the USA. In fact, there are Round Table clubs on every continent, and today we count over 44,000 members in more than 70 different countries. In Sri Lanka there are five Round Tables in total with a membership of nearly 100 people. The Colombo Paradise Round Table No. 5 was chartered in March 2013 and has 16 Members at present.
